Unsolved Murder of Donny Herron Jr

Donny Herron was murdered during a home invasion in Grandview, Missouri. A masked gunman shot Donny, a former quarterback at Missouri Western, three times. 

Alexuas Acord was shot 5 times from behind. Alexuas Acord was murdered while sitting in her car in the driveway of her home on the early morning of April 17, 2020. Her murder remains unsolved.  

 Damian Norfleet, 14 years old, was murdered in his Grandview home. He was shot 4 times.  His murder remains unsolved.

Brandon Herring was last seen on November 22, 2016. His body was discovered in January 2017. His murder remains unsolved. 

Zavien Hall was murdered August 21, 2019, in Kansas City, Missouri.  His murder remains unsolved.  

Xavier Young was murdered on November 6, 2019, at 24th and Chelsea Streets in Kansas City, Missouri.  His murder remains unsolved. 

Roman Yslas, a father of eight, was shot and killed in the parking lot of his Northland Kansas City apartment complex a few days before Christmas. His murder remains unsolved. 

Chad Donaldson was murdered December 22, 2014, in Belton, Missouri. He was shot outside a home on Springdale Drive just before 2 a.m. Chad died of his injuries at a hospital.  Four hours previously, Chad was seen at a QuikTrip on Missouri Highway 58 and Interstate 49.   Chad's murder remains unsolved. 

Darrell Allen was ambushed outside of Genesis Health Club located at Ward Parkway on May 16, 2018, in Kansas City, Missouri, and died at the scene.  Only two people knew Darrell was headed to that location.   His murder remains unsolved.  

Michael Brewer and Keith Wasmer were found murdered August 6, 2018, near Longview Lake in Kansas City, Missouri.  Their murders remain unsolved. 

Kimani Pouncil was murdered on October 16, 2008, in Kansas City, Missouri. His body was found dumped on a dead-end street near 34th and Wyoming on his 18th birthday.  His murder remains unsolved. 

Jerry Watkins was murdered on June 10, 2005, in Kansas City, Missouri. She was sitting in a car with two of her daughters, two grandsons, and her niece.  Her murder remains unsolved. 

Alonzo Brooks disappeared April 3, 2004, while attending a party at a farmhouse in La Cygne, Kansas. One month later, his body was discovered in a creek, yards from where he was last seen.  In 2020, after an episode of Unsolved Mysteries featured an episode on Alonzo Brooks, the FBI reopened his case. Alonzo's body was exhumed. His manner of death was changed to homicide. His murder remains unsolved.

Allen Ray Thompson was shot and killed in his driveway on January 2, 1970, in Kansas City, Missouri.   His murder remains unsolved. 

Mandi Alexander and Mary Drake were found murdered at the Dolly Madison Bakery in Great Bend, Kansas on September 4, 2002.  A witness described seeing a white male locking the bakery door and walking away at the time the murders are believed to have occurred.  Their murders remain unsolved. 

On August 14, 1974, David Eyman was burned alive with his hands and feet tied together. The first police officer on scene was and continues to be the main suspect in David's murder.   David's murder remains unsolved.

Brett Kreglo was shot during a Pizza Hut robbery on December 4, 1985, in Kansas City, Missouri. Brett had just arrived from Boulder, Colorado and had only been in Kansas City for one hour. His murder remains unsolved.  

Eight young black women were found murdered in Kansas City between 1980 and 1984. All of them were killed by ligature strangulation. All of them were found bound. All but 2 were found naked from the waist down. None of them had been raped.   

The bound and strangled victims were 15-year-old Gwendolyn Kizine, 20-year-old Janice Moore, 17-year-old Sherrie Hall, 26-year-old Jacqueline Davis, 24-year-old Angela Oliver, 16-year-old Terri Allen, 26-year-old Cheryl Saunders, and 20-year-old Susan Green.

Carrie Blewett was last seen on by her family in July of 2017 in Kansas City. Three weeks later, on August 4, her decomposed body was found along a tree line on Collage Avenue and 51 Street.   

Carrie's family tried to report her missing to the Kansas City police department two times. Both times an officer refused to file a report until a younger officer finally opened a missing person case on Carrie on July 19.  Her murder remains unsolved.

Darrell Prilliman's body was found May 4, 1980, three miles from the Kansas City airport. He was last seen April 6, 1980, at the Holiday Inn near the airport. His murder remains unsolved.
